About Dale

Dale is an entrepreneurial, versatile, strategic leader with proven business acumen and track record of success in community nonprofits, philanthropy, health care, faith-based and higher education organizations. His specific areas of expertise include: Nonprofit Leadership, Strategic Planning,  Corporate Culture, Change and Transition Management,

Community Relations, Professional Development, Self-directed Learning, Resource Development, Public Speaking, Interim Leadership, and Meeting Facilitation.

Before launching his consulting work, Dale held integral leadership roles at Mile High United Way, Kaiser Permanente of Colorado, and Mi Casa Resource Center. Currently he is the Executive Director at a Colorado area non-profit. Prior to his work in the nonprofit sector, Dale spent the bulk of his career in pastoral ministry. It was during this time that he honed his collaborative and strength-based approach to leadership and team-building. Dale has a degree in music from Seattle Pacific University and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Denver Seminary. In 2019 he participated in Georgetown University’s New Strategies for Nonprofit Executives. This advanced education program is focused exclusively on how to bolster and manage revenue for growth and success. He also completed Results Based Facilitation training through the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Dale is always eager for a round of golf, loves fly fishing from his kayak and enjoys cooking gourmet meals for anyone who comes through the door of his home.
